"Random post" only shows pages, not posts

  Hi guys!
  I created a “Random post” icon that used to work really well, but now it only shows pages, not posts.

  I’d like the readers to browse the blog content (previous posts about travelling destinations), but it only shows pages like about, archive, homepage, menu etc.

  Is there a way to fix this and exclude the pages from the “/?random” redirections?

  My blog is http://vontadedeviajar.wordpress.com/ (the random post icon is on the right side menu and is called “sortear um destino”)

  I just found out that Oxygen Theme’s “Live Demo” has the same problem: http://oxygendemo.wordpress.com/ and that’s the theme I use.

  Whenever you click “Random posts” only pages show up, instead of regular posts.

  The funny thing is that I had it working just fine for a couple months before this started to happen.

  I wonder if there’s any fix… It was a cool widget to have and my readers liked it…

  Hi there,

  It looks like the /?random feature has been fixed. When I went to your site, the sortear um destino link worked just fine for me. I was taken each time I pressed it to a different post (not any pages).

  Is it working OK for you now?

  Yes, I noticed it this morning – and I assumed the Happiness Engineers had it fixed : )

  A bit weird, but the important thing is that it’s back!
