Random Post Widget

  I’d like to place a randomly selected post from my post (including thumbnail) in the sidebar. Seems, that such a widget already exists for WP(.org), would be nice to have it within wordpress.com.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sorry, it’s not. It’s only a link, which directs to a random post. Of course this works with HTML within a text widget.

  What I want is to embed a random post directly into the sidebar.

  To be more specifically: I want to see a thumbnail, as you know them from the top posts widget, but from a random post as source.

  If you can find an RSS feed for a random post you can do it, but it won’t show an image or media.
