"Random posts" in Duster gives only pages, not posts

  I still don’t get it. I have created the blank blog page but how do I add the ?random to the url?

  On the edit page I alter the permalink to …/blog/?random but it just changes to …/blograndom when I click “ok” and how do I alter the dropdown menu to this new url?

  Go to Appearance Menus and look for the menu item “A Little Randomness”. Click on it to expand it so you can see the URL. At the moment that menu item has the URL http://agapintheclouds.wordpress.com/?random. Change that to http://agapintheclouds.wordpress.com/blog/?random . Save the menu and that link should now work correctly.

  I see at the bottom of your home page there’s also a link to random posts. You’ll need to update that as well to the new URL.

  Thank you very much, that works now but how do I change the dropdown menu under my blog name likethesunshone/Dashboard/Edit/New..etc… Shortlink/Random Post as this still shows http://agapintheclouds.wordpress.com/?random

  Are you speaking of the drop-down in the black admin bar? We can’t change that. For that one you’ll have to be patient until they fix whatever caused this. The workaround will only work for links you add yourself.
