Random selection in Top Posts

    Hi,

    Given that a post appearing in my “Top Posts & Pages” widget is a self-fulfilling prophecy – being in the widget attracts more readers to that post and keeps it in the top 5 – I was wondering if there might be a solution.

    I’d really like the 5 posts shown to be randomly selected from my top 10 or even top 20 just to spread the love around.

    I agree with that and would even go further. I want the ability to exclude some specific posts and pages by URL from displaying in the Top Posts and Pages widget.
