Random ‘You are not allowed to edit this post’

  Hello! We have been having an issue for a while now that seems to appear randomly. Sometimes, when we attempt to save a post that error pops up, and everything is lost. Has anyone else encountered something like this? Any ideas? Thank you!!

  Hi @nickbuttstgh, I haven’t seen this before. Are you using wordpress.com/post when you run into this error, or wp-admin’s editor?

  If you’re using wp-admin, can you check in the forums for self-hosted sites?

  You might also check on any editor plugins you have and see if temporarily disabling one makes any difference.
