randomly missing website logo

so my template has had a area for a template logo and it keeps taking it off.
I go to customizing > site identity > then select the logo and click save and as soon as i back out or even go to my website its gone.i’m using the “hammer” template which i have been using for years

can anyone help?

Can you try checking “Display Site Title and Tagline” in Customizer -> Site Identity section first, then choosing your logo? I think the site title and site logo are tied together, so having one hidden may hide the logo.
Let us know if that works and if so, we’ll make a note to the theme developers to possibly change that behavior.

Hi there! I have another update. You might be experiencing a bug with the site logo setting as we’ve had another number of reports of others having the same problem.
I’ve let the developers know that you’re having trouble as well and we’ll post an update here once we’re able to find and fix this.

thank you for the update. yes i tried including the title + site logo but then only the title shows not the logo.
