Rank Beginner: Linking to mp3 file on SoundCloud

  Please be patient with me. I’m new to this, I’m just about to get started with a totally free WordPress blog, and I am confused.
  My plan is to create short blog entries, consisting of the following:
  a). a photo
  b). a text
  c). a short (approx 3 minute) mp3 audio file of my own, which I will upload to SoundCloud (totally my material; no copyright issues with music)

  With the totally free WordPress blog, can I have an embedded link to an external audio file on SoundCloud? Is this going to work? Or is there a restriction on embedding audio using a free WordPress blog? I searched but couldn’t find an answer that made sense to me.

  Hi asakazeshizuka,

  There are no restrictions on embedding audio from Soundcloud on a free WordPress.com blog. You can include a photo, text and audio in one post.
