Hi, today I came to my blog http://www.mlfas.wordpress.com and the ratings all reset! It all became blank stars like from the beginning again. But when I go to the back end ratings, all the ratings are still there. However, there was a post that had like 14 (i think) five star ratings but when someone re-click the reset star rating it shows 1 and going to the back end it reset it to 1 star! (OH NO!)….so I panic and had to go in back end to take out the ratings so no one can view it to rate it as it would screw up the old ratings and start everything from scratch again! Is this fixable or a glitch in the system? please answer asap, thanks!

oh, and another thing, the comment settings is also all erase and back to 0 as well :(

sorry…I meant the comments ratings (it’s thumbs up thumbs down) all reset to “0”

Hi, I’ve got the same problem with my ratings at http://www.annawwalii.wordpress.com. The only unusual thing I’ve done today was joining bloglovin, not sure if it matters?

yeah I didn’t do anything just came on and boom, all ratings gone back to “factory” setting on website but it’s still there under the ratings setting…very odd…I think it’s a glitch error and is probably happening to all website utilizing it, which sucks cuz it took a long time to get people to rate it up :(

Bit of a concern. If the ratings function can simply disappear how safe are our blog posts?

I checked my site again and now only the ratings from before 2 days ago have returned. But now all the posts I made within 24 hours have reset too!

Hi Everyone,

It looks like the ratings have been fixed. I’ve checked a handful of sites, and the historical rating data appears correctly. Please let me know if you’re still experiencing trouble!

No, it’s still not fixed for my site. The ratings for the posts from the last 24 hours are reset.

Currently, I’m seeing all of your ratings for your post here:

That post is displaying with 7 ratings averaging out to 5 stars as shown here:

We did have a slight issue with the ratings. The issue has been corrected, but it may take a day or two before the ratings are fully updated.

Hi back.You’re looking at one post of many made in last 24+ hours.

That post was 16 hours ago. There’s a difference between ratings and how many times people tweeted about the post.

It was 30+ as of 17 hours ago but now lower

It seems to be reset every day now. Yes, I hope this glitch is fixed soon but I’m just letting you know and be aware of the problem still existing.currently.

Blog posts are save. Social shares and things like Likes are not always accurately counted, to say the least, but that doesn’t mean your posts are at risk.
