Rating on post list
-
Hi there.
My blog is a title and image blog. Users don’t need to access permalink to read the entire post (because it’s just a title and an image), and they do exactly that: they just scroll pages to see the blog.
Rating widget just appears when complete post (i.e. permalink) is accessed.
Is there any way to add rating widget in every post in the post list pages?thx

WordPress was planning on putting the rating on the main page, but it broke things, so they are still working on that issue. Right now, it only shows on the permalink pages.

It was in a previous thread about the ratings thing and was a response from a staff member. Search the forum for “rating” or “ratings” and see if you can find it. It wasn’t more than a week ago.

Here is the thread your asking about –> https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/ratings?replies=17 -
I checked the thread t3ck refers to, but there is nothing about a glitch I have just noticed. I do have ratings in some posts already, http://ninglundecember.wordpress.com/2009/07/18/not-again/ for example, but at the moment the ratings report for the same blog is saying “No ratings have been collected for your posts yet”. Earlier today it was reporting correctly. Ratings on pages and comments — and there are some on both — are however correct.
