Rating on Posts not working

I started using ratings on my pages and posts. First it worked fine, but suddenly it stopped working for the posts,though it is working brilliantly for pages. For posts, it is showing Rate this, but no stars are shown. I am new in these, so help me if even it is a foolish question.

Yesterday Comment Ratings stopped working for me, now Post Ratings are not working today for me either, but oddly/strangely Page Ratings are working for me.
I am using Mozilla Firefox 29 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
I assume that this is a bug, and so I added the Modlook Tag to your Topic so hopefully a Staff Member will help us with this problem eventually.

Hello Everyone,
Last night Ratings started back working again for me, I use the latest version of Mozilla Firefox internet browser set to Never Remember History, and so you probably should clear your browser’s cache/temporary internet files/cookies/et cetera; and then check again to see if Ratings are working again for you as well, and let us know if Ratings are also working for your as well or not.

Hi everyone,
Our team fixed up this issue, so the ratings settings are working again. You may need to resave your ratings settings by going to Settings > Ratings in your dashboard, clicking on “Advanced Settings,” and then clicking the “Save Changes” button there. We have more about those settings here: Ratings

Hi John Jr,
I took a look at your site at http://johnjronline.wordpress.com/ and I see the ratings there. Is that where you’re having trouble with them? If so, could you make a screenshot of what you see? (You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.)

I see that Ratings are working again now for me, maybe it was a temporary outage or maybe it was a problem on my Ubuntu 14.04 LTS partition (I am currently on my Windows 7 partition for the first time in a while and it is working here), thank you. ;)

Ratings still work sometimes, but then sometimes Ratings do not work.
I have been noticing this since this first started, for example Ratings are not working right now, but they will probably start working in a few hours or tomorrow but who knows; strange.
Also when previewing themes Ratings never work/show when previewing how your blog will look with another theme, but I have noticed this for a while but I have not reported it.

I apologize for the trouble. First, regarding the theme preview, it looks like this was fixed recently perhaps. Currently, when I preview a theme, I’m seeing the ratings on the individual posts. Can you let me know if you’re seeing them as well?
Second, in regards to the ratings disappearing, are the stars completely missing or are they just displaying blank as opposed to displaying the average post rating? For example, on the post here, do you see the rating stars at the bottom?
If the ratings are completely missing, have you noticed that this only occurs on specific operating systems?

You are right, for the first time in a long time (probably almost two years), Ratings are working now on theme previews; great, thank you. :)
The rating stars go missing completely where you only see Rate This, and this happens on both of my partitions on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on Firefox 29.1 and Internet Explorer 11 and maybe Google Chrome back when I still had it installed.
This seems to happen randomly, sometimes more than once in a day, strange.

Hey John,
Glad the preview is working on your side! I’m still looking into the disappearing ratings issue. I haven’t been able to recreate it on my side. I tried XP with Firefox 27.0 and the ratings still appeared. I’ll give this some more testing throughout the day to see if anything changes!

This issue will probably be harder to spot because it happens randomly, and only for short periods of time it seems; and it is always stops after I report it, hehehe, but I am glad that you are testing to see if it will happen eventually. ;)
