Rating setting not working with Arabic
-
I am using wordpress.com with 3 blogs in Arabic lang, from about 30 days when I go to the all Rating page to manage, and click Advanced setting, the choose page for choose ratings will be covered with the main page.
When I turn to English, every thing will be OK, so what happen between Arabic lang and wordpress.com free blogs.
So Please fix that very fast, because Arabs on this Arabic Spring, need for using every thing to help change their counties from dictatorship to Democracy.

Is the problem with the ratings on the front end of the blog or the settings in the Dashboard?
-
It is on the rating setting page of the Dashboard?
and as I said before when I change the blogs to English, it will be fixed, but not with Arabic. -
Just to be sure, are you referring to https://lyrcc.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ratings ?
-
Yes, and when Clicking Advanced Setting, the bar of the kind of Ratting which says(Here you can choose how you want your rating to display. The 5 star rating is the most commonly used. The Nero rating is useful for keeping it simple.), will cover the the other bar which shows how the Ratting appear on the blog.

I’m not seeing the problem myself, so I’d like to rule-out a browser-specific issue.
Would you please try another browser, like Chrome or Firefox?
-
Go to:
Personal Settings, and set Interface language to Arabic, and you will see what I am talking about, in English every thing is OK.
I working with Chrome and now just tried Firefox, the same problem on both.
Try to change the interface language to Arabic (ar), and see. -
-
Ah, now I see it in Chrome.
I’m going to pass this on the the team that handles polls and ratings and we’ll see if we can get that fixed up.
-
Sorry I am late, because the internet connection was off about 36 hours.
Now I hope they will fix that.
I like to ask you some other things:
I hope in this theme I am using now (zBench), they can translate this to Arabic:
1- (Posted by), which always on the top of each blog, before the writer name of the blog.
2- (Older Posts) & (Newer Posts), which are on bottom of each page.
3- Add a Theme option, to hide the tags from each post.
4- Add a theme option, to hide the (Search) form on top of of the blog, because when some body add more tabs to the custom menu it will go down an hide the top blog image.
Thank you, and always I hope hearing good news from you.Abdulrazig Almansori

Thanks, we’re still looking into this and we’ll let you know when we have a solution.
And, thank you for the translation suggestions.
-
I thing your problem with the Ratings in Arabic has some thing with URL (https).
Because the URL (https) on the Dashboard all pages is in green color, but on the Ratings page the color of (https) is red crossed.
I hope that will help.
Thank you

No, that’s just because the SSL certificate is signed for WordPress.com rather than your specific domain. It’s not related.
