re-accessing past wordpress for family oral history

  hi there. i’m really hoping you’ll be able to help me out with this today. in 2015, i made a website for Christmas so that my family could access my grandmother’s oral history complete with family photos. i think because people weren’t necessarily using it much and because i’d been strapped with money, i shut it down.

  is there any waybackmachine type of thing to re-access or revive a site after it’s been taken down?

  she just passed away and i can’t find a raw file of the entire recording. i’m really hoping i could recover the site with edited clips. thank you for your pointers ahead of time!

  Hi,

  It is not possible to recover that site on our end as we don’t store backups from sites deleted years ago.

  You could try using the Internet Archive Wayback Machine: https://archive.org/web/
