  Hi, I would like my previous posts in the archives widget to be identified by the title of the post rather than the date. I have the Clean House theme. Is this possible and how do I accomplish this? Thank you. (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  The way your entries are displayed on the dynamic Archives, Tags and Categories pages is determined by the theme you use. In most but not all themes what’s displayed is the same is what appears on the main page for posts which by default is the front page. The easy and free way to deal with this is to switch to using a theme that displays what you want on those dynamic pages.

  There may be a CSS editing fix you can use but I don’t know if that’s true or not and I suspect it isn’t possible. However, you could use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can copy and paste your text into a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get a definitive answer to your question.
