Re-arrange blog posts
-
I would like to re-arrange my blog posts, this should be simple functionality
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The posts that show on the home page are in order by the date they are published on. You will have to edit each post, and change the ‘Published on’ date stamp in the column on the right-hand side.
Using the Quick Edit option will allow you to edit each post a bit more quickly. Please see this link for details: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#quick-edit

Blogs are essentially a reverse chronological order publishing tool and you cannot change this order on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. Readers arrive to read our most recent posts. In the case of my blog that means they don’t have to slog through over 860 posts to locate the most recent one.
You can falsify datestamps prior to publication to create a different post order.
You can use the display post shortcode. See here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/display-posts-vs-archives?replies=2#post-1289363
For the option of creating a book-like structure see here> http://en.support.wordpress.com/write-a-book/ Perhaps that will work for you.
To create and use a single sticky post as an index page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
