Re-availability of refunded domain

    Hi,
    I recently purchased a domain, then decided I wanted to also purchase a plan. However, the plan was no longer discounted (as it would be with free domain). Therefore, I refunded the domain in order to restart the process, only to realise the domain was still unavailable. I was wondering how long it would take until the domain becomes available again, or whether and admin could refresh it?

    Is this for stoicscholar.com?

    Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again, here or somewhere else, in future.

    In this case your domain should become available again towards the middle of next week, but if you go ahead and buy a plan, we can also still restore the domain for you. Just reply here once you’ve bought the plan.

    P.S., we would have been happy to refund the difference for you had you upgraded to the plan without cancelling the domain :)

    The domain was indeed stoicscholar.com

    I have just purchased a plan, so if you are able to now restore the domain that would be very much appreciated.

    Please note that, since this was a manual change, the credit card you used for purchasing the plan is not bundled with the domain. If you would like it to renew automatically next year, you will want to add the credit card details to the domain as well:
