    I’m planning to delete my WordPress account as I do not have a website linked to it (since the payment is not going through). My question is, if I permanently delete my WordPress account, will I be able to sign up in the future using the same username as what I have now?

    Deleting your account will not allow you to use your username again. Besides email address associated with your account will remain in the WordPress.com system for 30 days. After 30 days all sites and data will be cleansed from WordPress.com and you can sign up using the same email address for a new account but the previous username will not available for you or any other to use.
