Re: coding problem in editor
-
I seem to have inadvertently altered the coding on my website and consequently, it now looks very peculiar.
I was trying to add an image slider on the first page (header image) and in trying to achieve this, I downloaded the plugin: ‘meta slider’ (I also downloaded ‘sliders’ but I couldn’t get on with that one)
I followed along with this YouTube link to try and set it up: https://youtu.be/3aJX6J_QDE8
After one had downloaded the plugin and uploaded the pictures, the video then instructs one to copy this code below into the editor, under ‘theme header’.
[metaslider id=’6664′]
I added this to the end of the text on ‘theme header’ and then I deleted it.
However I may have deleted a letter or something of the original coding. I can’t really work it out exactly what I did. Now I can’t see any coding at all under ‘theme header’Are you able to help get this back to how it was before?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
It sounds like you are using the WordPress installation rather than us at WordPress.com. Could you please share the site URL so I can confirm that.
Help with the WordPress installation comes via the community of volunteers at https://wordpress.org/support/
There should be a dedicated support forum for the plugin that you’ve chosen as well. Share the name of the plugin and I can link you directly to their support forum.
This page explains some more of the differences between WordPress.com and the WordPress installation: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
