I’m trying to get rid of this user name. It’s not associated with any blog or site. Please delete it for me please.

There’s no way to permanently to user name, but there are options to change it and make it inactive.
If you’re looking to change your user name, you can follow the steps here:
If you’re looking to delete everything associated with the account, follow the steps below:
1. Head to your profile and then Account Settings. Remove all of your information except for your username and email address.
2. WordPress accounts are tied to their email addresses. Before locking out your username, make sure to change your email address to either a throwaway or a non-primary email if you plan on signing up for another WordPress account in the future.
3. Unsubscribe from all WordPress emails. Head to this link here and select “Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com” under the “Reader Subscriptions” tab: https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions
4. Change your password to a random string of characters to ensure the account is locked. You can use a password generator like this one: http://www.thebitmill.com/tools/password.html
5. Hide your Gravatar profile. Login go to View Profile – > Hide My Profile http://en.gravatar.com/support/profile-privacy
The only thing left after this process is your username, which cannot be deleted from our database. This is so another person cannot come along and use it to impersonate you. All of your personal information should now be removed and your account locked.
