re-direct problems

  I had a website thru bluehost. I took it down but I want to keep the old domain name there and re-direct it to my new WordPress.com site. They have it “pointed” to the WordPress.com site but from there I don’t know what to do. Do i have to pay wordpress $13 a year and Bluehost another $14 on top of the yearly fee for the new domain for the new wordpress site? Seems like there must be an easier way to do this.

  Yes, you have to pay WordPress.com to map to an existing domain from your free hosted wordpress.com blog. They will not do that free of charge. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/
