Re-directing my site

  Hi there!

  I am currently transitioning from WordPress.com to WordPress.org. I would like to redirect my website and figured out for that I need to get the Offsite Redirect from the WordPress store, only when I go to that store I can select all blogs except for the one I want to redirect! The only difference is that the one I want to redirect is a domain name, what can I do? Does anybody have a solution, or know what the problem might be?

  Hi there. Did you already have a custom domain for your WordPress.com site? What is the free WordPress.com URL which you had mapped to your domain? You need to buy the Site Redirect for that WordPress.com blog. If you’ve deleted that blog, you won’t be able to buy the Site Redirect. You can’t buy the site redirect for the custom domain.

  I suppose it is a costum domain. Hiw do I redirect in that case?

  You must have had a WordPress.com URL if you blogged here. I see http://travelingmywayhome.wordpress.com/ is connected to your username and is mapped to http://travelingmywayhome.com/ Is that the site you’re moving to WordPress.org? Then you’ll buy the site redirect for that WordPress.com site.
