  How do I enable post excerpts so that when I post, it appears with an excerpt on my front page? Also, how do I enable a search bar? Thanks for any help!

  Hi there,

  I see you wish to display summary of the blog post. This can be done by adding Read More tag.
  – Edit the post you want to shorten
  – Click on Insert Read More tag button (dotted line between two lines)
  – Drag —MORE— line from where you want to limit the post
  – Click on Update

  Also, you can try adding your custom read more message in HTML section.

  You can add a excerpt by following this link – https://en.support.wordpress.com/excerpts/#creating-excerpts
  However, this doesn’t work for TwentyTen theme that your blog is using. Check if it works for you.
