RE: I have forgotten my login details for multiple WordPress accounts
-
Hello,
I have 3 WordPress based websites that i have not used in a long time and I have now forgotten the login details and passwords for all of my WordPress accounts.
I think i may have linked two of the websites some how before i became locked out (one of them to http://www.oldbooktopia.co.uk/)
I thought i had managed to reset the password for the website: http://www.oldbooktopia.co.uk/ but i cant seem to access this website either now as well as the others.
What i would like to do is this:
1. Close down the 2 of the websites (including http://www.oldbooktopia.co.uk/) .
2. Keep one website, but use only a free theme.
Could you tell me how to access these website and how to achieve these aims?
Many thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://www.oldbooktopia.co.uk/ is not hosted by wordpress.COM and those are the only sites we provide support for here. Contact your web host. oldbooktopia.co.uk is hosted by UK Webhosting
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
ahh thanks – i remember 2 of the sites are hosted with someone else now but make use of wordpress on them.
Presumably i just need to contact my host to get those details and sort this out?

@timethief is correct.
The sites reviewland.co.uk and oldbooktopia.co.uk are not WordPress.com sites, so you will need to contact their web host for assistance.
You may find the following pages helpful, as well:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
http://codex.wordpress.org/Common_WordPress_Errors
Also, the Custom Design Upgrade that is associated with the WordPress.com site crossroadsofakind.wordpress.com is owned by a different WordPress.com user, not markihansel. Only the owner of the Upgrade can cancel it.
If you control this other account, but have lost access, let me know, and I will review your Account Recovery options.

hello – thanks for getting back to me.
I have followed timetheif’s advice and contacted the host for two of the websites and managed to close these down with effect from the end of the month – so all good on that front.
However i am still left with the crossroads website which i am the registered user for (I suspect the user name for that one might be markhansel). I cant remember now how I’ve ended up in such a pickle with user names and log-ins!
I received an email about the custom design theme associated with this website (crossroads) and have sent an email to WordPress saying i would like to cancel this but have not had any reply yet.
I would like to do two things with the crossroads website:
1. Cancel the use of a custom design theme for this webiste
2. Regain access to this account once again so i can mange it in the future.Could you help please?
Many thanks

Ok – status update:
I can reset my password easily (my email address is registered to WordPress) but i don’t think i can remember my user name which is why i still cant log in after changing my password.
I also realise that the only way i can interact with WordPress help now is through signing in on one of the accounts hosted by another service which is going to end soon. I hope i sort this out before then!

I will privately respond with your Account Recovery options.
You will hear from me soon.
