Re-import posts

I have imported posts from a MoveableType compatible format and deleted them. I slightly modified the posts to be imported so that the images link up automatically to WordPress, not the old blog. Now I want to re-import the slightly modified versions of same posts, however they won’t re-import. I presume this is because WordPress doesn’t import duplicates.
Is there a way to completely delete all the data so I can start fresh? Or, is there a way to force import of duplicates?

I’m having the same basic problem. Imported MT posts once, but had to change them. Deleted, tried a re-import, nada.
So giving this thread a bump.

We Volunteers can’t help with import issues but we can flag threads for Staff attention and I did that. -
Make sure that the deleted posts are not in your Trash sub-section. The importer will not duplicate posts, and even though they are in the Trash, they still technically exist until the Trash is emptied.

Does your export file have a .xml extension? If not, please try adding or changing that, then try the import again.
