re-invite removed follower

  i would like to re-invite a follower which i earlier removed from the list. somehow the system still sees the e-mail adress as already follower while the adress does not show up in the list of followers,
  Plse be so kind to guide me….

  I would also like to know how to resend a follower invitation. I cannot find followers anywhere in the control panel (not under settings>reading).
