Re naming domain

    I want to rename my site and therefore get a new domain to match the name of the site.
    How do I do this without loosing all my content, followers, tags etc…

    Hi there!

    You can just purchase a new domain to serve as your primary domain without needing to rename your underlying WordPress.com site name by going to Store -> Domains and add the new domain in the list there. You can set it as your primary domain by going to Store -> Domains and selecting the domain and clicking the “update primary domain” button.

    That way, any traffic going to your old site will be automatically redirected to your new domain and you won’t need to worry about losing any followers or anything else!
