RE: No editing rights

    I can’t find the thread this question was filed in. In response to my question about accessing the Mimbo Pro theme’s coding, Supernovia said.

    “The upgrade allows you to override or even replace the theme’s CSS, however it doesn’t allow you to directly edit the theme files.

    You can edit your CSS with the Customizer, which you can find through your dashboard, admin bar, or My Sites menus. If you need to do more than edit the CSS, let me know what you’re trying to do and I’ll see if I can point you in the right direction.”

    I’d like to change the dimensions of the carousel pictures from letter box to square. The problem is the posts that are being pulled in there also appear in the category section where the image slot is square. It’s very difficult to size an image so that it works in both landscape and square. How would I make this change?

    As far as I can tell, this is the first time you’ve posted in these WordPress.com forums. You can find all your previous forum threads by clicking on your username at the top of these forum pages, where it says “Welcome, yourusername”

    Is it possible you’ve posted under a different username? Is it possible you have an upgrade and posted in the Private support forum?

    Hi there – it doesn’t look like there are any upgrades on this site – https://girleatsearth.wordpress.com/ – so it wouldn’t be possible to add any custom CSS there. What’s the address of the site you need help with?
