Re: old wordpress website

It’s been so long since the website has been created that I do not remember the user name (thought it was JocelynB) or the email I used (thought it was (email visible only to moderators and staff)) or the password. I entered my email, changed the password but the system says I do not have any websites. If you google my name, this website appears. How can I update it?

Can you give us the name of the site? It may be that the site was not hosted by WordPress.com but was hosted on a 3rd party using WordPress software. If you list the site, we can check for you.

Ok, so it’s clearly a WordPress.com site!
If you are not able to remember the username, or have lost your password or access to email, the only way to recover your account is by going through the Account Recovery process found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form.
If you’re unable to provide any of the information requested, there is nothing that WordPress can do to access it.
I will tag a MODLOOK on here so that a staff member can check in if you need help, but do try the steps outlined on the account recovery form, as that is you best bet at getting access.
