Re-ordering my posts – help with the technical part?

    Hello! I’m new to this. I successfully posted several things, but they are not in chronological order – just the order I got them posted. I’d like some pointers on how to get them re-ordered by date written (not date I got the content uploaded). Thanks for any help you can offer!

    Hi there,

    WordPress orders posts by publication date, in reverse-chronological order, i.e. with the most recent post always at the top.

    So you’ll need to edit your posts, and change the publication date to match the date you’ve added in the post content. Go to Posts ->All Posts and edit a post. In the Settings sidebar on the right, click on the date, select the date you want in the calendar, and update the post. As you update each post its order will change according to the new publication date you set.
