Re-ordering portfolios

When I create a new portfolio, it automatically becomes the first one on the left side of the screen. I would like to re-order the portfolios so that a different one appears first on the left, but I cannot find a way to move them around. I am using the espied theme. Thanks!

Portfolio projects are always put in order by one of these attributes: the creation date, the author name, the project title, or randomly. By default they’re put in order by creation date, and the other options don’t seem like they would help since you’re just trying to change the position of one particular project.

I’d recommend adding a new portfolio project, copy the content from your preferred portfolio project, and paste it into the new project. Then delete the older project. Your preferred project will now appear first in the order.

If you do want to change which attribute the projects are being sorted by, or to reverse the display order, check out the order and orderby attributes here:
