Re-organising Recent Post Widget
-
I am just learning how to use Word Press and I placed some entries onto Site Pages rather than Blog Posts. When I realised this, I added them to the Blog Posts. However, this means that my numbered post appear in the Recent Posts Widget out of order. Is there any way I can reorganise the entries in the Recent Posts Widgets, please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, that widget lists the posts according to date and time the post was published. If you wish to rearrange them you’ll need to do one of the following:
1. Change the date/time of the posts to the order you wish them to be in. You can follow this guide https://en.support.wordpress.com/schedule-a-post/ and BACKDATE those posts. Any new posts will be added automatically according to date and time. However, any link that has been sent out to followers or social media will come up as a 404 not found error when someone clicks on it.2. Instead of the recent posts widget, you can add a Navigation Menu widget and there arrange the posts in the order you wish them to appear. https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/navigation-menu-widget/ However, you will need to manually add new posts to that widget going forward but it will not upset the link structure so clicking on a link from an email follow or social media will be correct.
Hope that helps but let us know if you have any other question about it.
