  Hello. I don’t want people to comment on the pages I create. Can I turn commenting off for just certain pages?

  Yes, you can do that when writing or editing the post under Discussion options on the Write/Edit page.

  Faster way: go to Pages > All Pages, hover over the page title, click Quick Edit (instead of Edit), uncheck the option “Allow Comments”, click Update.
