Re-publishing drafts, and email subscriptions

  Hi
  When re-publishing drafts (posts that have been published, but were later saved drafts) an email subscriber receives a mail with the post content, right?

  Is there a way to stop this from happening, for example by temporarily turning off subscriptions?

  In addition, if I edit a post after publishing (not saved as a draft after publishing) do email subscribers get a notification?

  Your subscribers get only the original post published. They do not get the edited versions.
