  Hi there. I would like to recycle my own blog address (zapablues.wordpress.com). I started creating a blog with that address and I mistakenly deleted it (blame my digital incompetence). But now when I want to start again, the site wouldn’t let me choose the same address (“Sorry, that site already exists!”). I know it’s not possible to recycle other user’s blog names but this was my own a few days ago. Thank you for your help.

  Sadly even though it was yours, you still can’t get it back, the permanent deletion was just that. Recycling of URLs that were even once yours doesn’t happen here. You can either use a similar name or choose to buy the domain zapablues.com for $18 a year.
