Re-sizing images to be a uniform size
-
Hello,
I’m using a responsive grid to display my images plus some text on this page: https://preventiondiaries.com/2-upstream/
I would like to make sure that all the images are of uniform size so that the layout looks cleaner, much like Vox.com does: http://www.vox.com/
Can anyone make any suggestions as to how to resize my images so that they are always the same size, either by using WordPress controls or by using CSS?
Thank you!

Hi there, my first suggestion would be to use images that are all in one orientation (landscape or portrait) and then all the same proportions width to height. That is the best way to get all the images to look the same size when inserted as you have them. The second thing is to keep the text with the images roughly the same length. Same for the titles you have above the sections.
Given the images you are using, this could be quite difficult to achieve. Example: The HEALU Brief image and the Streetsblog image. Streets is square and HEALU is 1.92 times wider than it is tall.

Thank you, thank you, thank you again for your sage wisdom. It does make sense to just ensure that the images are all the same size and avoids any coding wonkiness. Now I just have to figure out how to get that youtube video in check :)
