Re-sizing Youtube videos

  Hi

  Is there a way to re-size a youtube video on my blog. I use the Andrea theme and all my photos are at full 1024 x 575 size so it would be handy if I could re-size my youtube videos to match. I use the Gigya code to resize a Flickr slideshow but wondered if there is a similar workaround code for Youtube

  In your profile, go to Settings > Media, and you will find an Auto-Embeds section. There you can define the max width and height of your videos and other embeds (flickr, vimeo…)

  Or use the Youtube shortcode with a width appended – see here:

  Is there any way to control the alignment of the video using the shortcode [ ] method? Currently all my video’s are centered and I want them to the left.

  @roamingk: Please paste the URL of your blog when asking questions here. Or, better, make your username link to your blog (Users > Personal Settings: scroll down to Account Details, paste blog URL in the Website field, click Save Changes).

  Thanks for the advice, panaghiotisadam and jeherve. Changing the auto embed settings didn’t work but the shortcode did. Easy to get my videos full size
