Re-start blog

  Would like to wipe the slate clean. Is there a way to archive old posts but essentially re-start the blog with new content, look, etc. Would also like to change the URL. Or is it easier to start a new blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello!

  From what I understand you wish to empty the site. If that is correct you should follow the instructions here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  You also have other options here besides wiping the site clean

  Does that resolve your question?

  Hi, Backerbabe.

  You can export your blog’s content by following these instructions:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
  (Make sure that everything is there before proceeding with the next step.)

  Then, you can empty the site, without deleting it by following these instructions (carefully):
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  And, yes, you can change the URL:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Of course, it would be easier to just start a new blog and make your old one private. You’ll probably want your subscribers to come with you:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/
