Re-starting a dormant blog
-
Our blog has been dormant for 2 years. We’d like to revive it but it appears I cannot access the old blog from the dashboard, even though it is available if I search the URL. http://marketpoint.wordpress.com. Can anyone help me?

Note that no wordpress.com URLs ever contain “www”. The correct URL for the blog is http://marketpoint.wordpress.com.
The unique identifier is the email address you used to register your wordpress.com username account and the blog under. As such, this is how we are able to verify ownership of blogs and accounts; it is very important to remember and update it as necessary. Without that email address and a password you will not be able to log-in to the blog

If you have entered the correct email address and password and have been able to log-in successfully then you could find yourself viewing the global dashboard rather than the blog dashboard. That’s easily remedied by going up to the top left hand corner of the gray navigation bar and hovering over “My Account”. A dropdown menu will appear and you simply click “My Blogs”. From there you will be able to click into the blog’s dashboard.

Hey there alexcmpi. Do you happen to have access to the email address used to create the blog or the API key you received in the Welcome Message when you created the blog?
