Re: Theme Options Error

    On my website/blog – http://www.blaremagazine.com – that uses the Structure theme, the Theme Options area has been reset and won’t update my website. Instead, it goes to a blank page that says “Are You Sure You Want To Do This? Please Try Again”.

    As my website is for a media publication, it has altered its appearance which is a bit of issue as we post daily features on the site. Is this a bug with the CSS or a temporary bug in the system?

  • I’m sorry you’re having trouble. Could you please let me know exactly which button or link you’re clicking, on which page, when you get this blank page and error message? Could you provide a link to the page here?

    It might also be useful if you could upload a screenshot of the page, including the browser’s address bar, to help in troubleshooting. Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you’re not sure: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

    You can then upload the screenshot in your Media Library and then post a link or let me know the name of the file so I can take a look.

  • I think I’ve determined which area of the settings you’re trying to change, so I don’t need a screenshot.

    Would you mind still letting me know specifically which settings you’re trying to set so I can see if I can replicate the error on your site? For example, if you’re trying to select a featured category, which one would you like to use?

    It was basically just the Structure theme’s Theme Options but it looks like it’s resolved itself. Could the error have been caused by a theme update?

  • We received a similar report of this issue with Structure around the same time as yours came in, so it might have been a temporary glitch with the theme.

    If it happens again, just let me know and I’ll be glad to investigate further.
