    I successfully logged in, finally, on desktop, using outdated two-step WP android app on outdated phone, that doesn’t have SMS features, anymore (using as wi-fi/transition device) AND – unable, now, to change a single thing anywhere, without giving SMS code to verify, on device that no longer has SMS service – and not finding the walk through on Two-step very friendly

    Hi there,

    Are you speaking of the account you’re using to post here? Our logs show you disabled and re-enabled 2FA, and generated new backup codes for this account shortly after posting here.

    Do you still need help with this?

    Please make sure you print out the backup codes and keep them somewhere safe, as that’s what you need to use to disable 2FA in a situation like you described above.
