RE: Uploading a flipbook HTML file made with Adobe Flex.

    Greetings,

Trying to add a new HTML file to my website. It is a flipbook HTML file made with Adobe Flex. When uploading other HTML files, they show what they are supposed to. However,, with this one, it shows a blank white screen.

Inspecting the page shows the following in the console: ‘Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()’.

Any help or recommendations are greatly appreciated.
    Regards.

  • Hi there,

I’m sorry, but that embed code will not work because we do not allow certain tags on WordPress.com for security reasons (depending on upgrade level) including JavaScript, Flash, iframe, form, and input tags. These restrictions are in place to prevent any disruptions in service due to potentially malicious code.

You can read more about this here: http://support.wordpress.com/code/

It is possible to use this code on WordPress.com if you upgrade to our Business Plan, which gives your site dedicated resources on our business hosting platform, as well as the ability to edit source code, upload plugins and 3rd party themes, as well as add any embed code you wish.
