Re-use my old domain name
-
I hold a domain name, with the wordpress.com extension, and after a while I decided to cancel the blog. Now I want to re-use the same domain name but I can’t because it’s already taken. But it was taken by me! Nobody else hold this domain now.. So why I cannot use my old domain name? Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Because domain names, once deleted, are never re-used at WordPress.com. This is clearly explained in the warnings.

I’m sorry but that’s not possible. To delete a blog takes bypassing 3 warnings that blog deletion is irreversible and then clicking a confirmation link in an email for good reason ie. deleted blog URLs are not recycled.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

Yes this is clear, I really wanted to delete my blog, but why don’t regain my old domain name? There’s no other way without passing at the .com solution? Thank you.
