Re using a domain I cancelled

  Hi! I am wanting to re use a domain that I cancelled. Can I do that?

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  Hi there, it looks like you deleted this domain back in September of 2021 if I understand correctly?

  This means it went through the full cancellation/expiry/redemption process and was subsequently released for re-purchase; it’s definitely no longer within the redemption period after around 14 months.

  It looks like someone else purchased amityrise.com unfortunately (through a different domain provider), and the public WHOIS information for it indicates that it’s currently registered until 29 April 2023.

  If the current registrant allows it to expire and be released there’s a chance you may be able to re-register it in future, though that may take a while. If you have any other questions, please do let us know.
