Re. Website Requirement and suggustion

    Hello,
    I have a existing domain already with VentraIp. But I would like to use your plan form to build a new website which I can update contents regularly.

    I run a small accounting practice so I wish to have following addon functions if possible.

    1. client live chat – messenger
    2. client portal – where client can signup and upload files based on my custom designed questions and checklists.
    3. payment portal – not urgent at this stage as I wish to keep plan at minimum cost.

    Can you advise if the above can be done and what plan and cost etc.

    And where i can find tutorials on above design functions.

    Hi Tommy,

    For 1 and 2 you’ll need to use plugins, and that requires our Business Plan:

    I’m not able to recommend specific live chat plugins – for advice on that I recommend you ask the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/. Those are the people who make plugins for WordPress, so they’re best able to help with this kind of advice.

    For number 2, something like WooCommerce Memberships can be used for the client portal, and then you can use any contact form plugin for members to submit a questionnaire and upload files.

    You’ll likely find both free and premium plugins for these features – note that the Business plan doesn’t include the cost of any premium plugins you’d want to use. You’ll need to buy those directly from the companies that make them.

    For 3 we offer a built-in option using PayPal on our Premium Plan:

    The other option is to use a payment gateway plugin on the Business Plan. Our plan includes support for the free WooCommerce plugin and all payment gateway plugins available at https://woocommerce.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/, but there are also other options available that don’t need WooCommerce.
