  What is the cheapest package to upgrade to that will allow me to take payments on the site please? If I could use the website and then move away from etsy it would be great. Many thanks.

  Hi there,

  You can add a simple PayPal Buy Now button on your site on our free plan:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  But I would recommend our Premium Plan where you can add the Simple Payments button – with that you can add a product to your site, with a photo, description and price, and an integrated payment button that also works with PayPal. For once-off purchases it’s the best option:
