Reaching 3gb limit

  • Unknown's avatar

I have had a pop-up message to say I am nearing the 3gb limit. The images I have add up to around 70mb and to be honest, I don’t have a lot of posts on the site yet so it seems odd that I am running out of space.
I have been trying to see how much space is used by various plugins (since I assume they count within the space I have) but can’t find anything.
I recently installed the jetpack so wondering if that uses up a lot of space?
Any suggestions on how I can find how much space is being used by the posts/plugins etc would be really appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi @susanthunt,

It seems you have two sites countrymun.wordpress.com(WordPress.com) and http://www.countrymun.com(Self Hosted WordPress.org). These are two different platforms. You can learn more about it here:

    WordPress Com vs WordPress ORG

The message you are getting for a 3GB limit is for the WordPress.com site which might be getting exhausted. You can go to MySites->Media and check the availability of the space there. If you would like to have more space for the site you can consider upgrading your plans. You can learn more about it here:

    Space Upgrade

For the other site(WordPress ORG) site as you have installed Jetpack lately, you have connected to WordPress.com. I checked the connection of your site http://www.countrymun.com with the Jetpack Debug tool. There seems to a problem. You can contact Jetpack support:

    Contact Support

For space-related issues for your Self Hosted site, you will have to contact the Hosting service provider. Also, for future reference if you get ORG related issues your best way to get help would be at:

    WordPress org Support

Hope this helps, let me know for any further questions.
    Thanks!
