Reaching WordPress Customer Service
-
MacManX’s response on this Topic was sophomoric. He implicitly claims 2 MILLION USERS who send inquiries asking for customer support and that WE SHOULD WAIT for a response within 48 HOURS. THAT will never happen and he knows his statement was a false representation because it is physically impossible. It’s a sad commentary that 2 million people need to reach Customer Service. Hence, why Customer Service DOES NOT EXIST. Moreover, his startling, physically impossible proposition, DOES NOT tell the people needing Customer Service–WHERE TO FIND CUSTOMER SERVICE — ANYTHING! THAT — is NOT by accident. WordPress makes the statement below: “We love positive and productive discussions, so please keep comments on the topics at hand and not on other members of the community. . .” If that qualifies for a posting, then MacManX should NOT make statements that are apparently FALSE and add NOTHING to the discussions except to frustrate persons seeking answers to valid, legitimate questions concerning MONEY THEY PAID TO WORD PRESS FOR SERVICE THEY DID NOT RECEIVE. I’d suggest you not try and kill the Messenger of Truth to protect your questionable image, that Customer Service exists, when in fact is DOES NOT. Maybe YOU can contact me since IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT YOU: (email visible only to moderators and staff); or 661-822-1994, (Office); or 661-300-0048 (cell). cc: Pay Pal; California Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Affairs; Law Offices of Parker Stanbery.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When the contact form is closed, as it is now till Jan 2, you can post here in the forums and someone will tag the thread for staff attention. Many problems are readily solved by the volunteers here though and do not require staff intervention.
When the support form is closed, you can use support@wordpress.com . The reason they do not normally post this email address is that if people email, it does not get logged into the support ticketing system where it can be tracked. That is why they prefer the contact form.
I’ve tagged this thread for staff attention.

@thesacredpath
I clicked the username and the site linked to is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. http://ismyblogworking.com/www.tehachapicourtservices.com
Server hostname: p9p.geo.vip.bf1.yahoo.com
Generator: yahoo! sitebuilder/2.6/1.5.0_05@outhouseparalegal
Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question. The one linked to your username is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog and those are the only blogs WordPress.com provides support for. -

@thesacredpath
That’s possible but we need confirmation as (1) that’s not the blog linked to the username, and (2) we don’t have any idea which “paid services” this blogger is referring to. Does she mean upgrades to that free hosted WordPress.com blog you pointed to? If so, which upgrades? -
-
Well if they are talking about a site hosted here and need to contact staff on an issue then we’ll do our best to get them in touch.
-
Yes, I noticed that and wondered if there could be yet another unidentified site that we have no URL to that is professional looking, has recent content, and has had upgrades purchased for it.
I waiting for outhouseparalegal to please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question and clearly state what she is referring to by saying “MONEY THEY PAID TO WORD PRESS FOR SERVICE THEY DID NOT RECEIVE”. They who? Paid for what? On which blog?

Why is it that the undermedicated gravitate towards the practice of law on an amateur basis?

I’m honestly not sure what you’re upset about. You have absolutely no support history with us, and I have no clue which comment you’re referring to.
In general, we provide free support for (as of this very moment) 30,070,662 users. That is in no way to imply that all 30 million are contacting us at once, but sometimes we do get a fair share of requests and it can take more than a day for us to respond.
Customer service does exist, and it’s no secret.
Yes, we are closed for the holidays to anyone who has not purchased an upgrade within the past 30 days. This is primarily to help customers with transaction and refund issues while we spend some time with our families, though we can always be reached for emergencies at support@wordpress.com which is referenced several times throughout these forums.
Support is not a paid service, it is part of the free offerings at WordPress.com. When you purchase an upgrade, you are paying for just that upgrade and nothing more.
Though support is a free offering, we are passionate about it, and will always reply as soon as we are able to.
