reactivate a domain
-
I originally misspelled the domain bigdaddypublisners.com on our account so I paid and created the corrected one bigdaddypublishers.com. A few weeks ago I deleted the 1st one with the incorrect spelling and I am having issue as to now this is the first one that pops up on google and it directing to site does not exist. How can I reactivate or map this incorrect domain so that I can least have the google search to redirect it to the corrected site? It is asking me to map the domain but I need to make sure that I am still owner of the domain even though it is not listed on my list of domains… I deleted it prior to my 12 months being up so I’m hoping this incorrect site still belongs to …
Please help and advise and point me in the right direction.

Flagged for the staff to sort this out
Depending on how you “deleted” the custom domain name – it might be hidden or it might be able to be purchased again or something
the staff work the requests from oldest to newest

Do I need to put in a special request or are they going to process my inquiry from this forum?
I would love to just be able to pay for and have the incorrect domain reattached to my account again so I can just direct it to the new corrected site with out people thinking our site is down..

Have I been skipped, I see where other post have been flagged for staff and someone has addressed them. Just checking?
Patiently waiting!

Hi there,
A few weeks ago I deleted the 1st one with the incorrect spelling and I am having issue as to now this is the first one that pops up on google and it directing to site does not exist. How can I reactivate or map this incorrect domain so that I can least have the google search to redirect it to the corrected site?
We have no control over which order your site is listed in Google searches. You would have to contact Google about that. We send the information regarding your site to Google and it is normally updated within 6-8 weeks. So it should work itself out and eventually the incorrect domain will no longer appear, but it will take some time.
However, if you still want to purchase the incorrect domain, it is in the processed of being released. We may be able to capture it before it is released. I can send you a manual payment and put in a request to un-cancel it. If we are unable to get it I can provide you a full refund.
Let me know how you would like to proceed.

Please send me the manual payment option to try to capture it before it is released… Will that just come to my email?
Thanks in advance

Hi there,
I’ve emailed you the manual payment. Once you pay for it, reply in this thread and I will make a request to uncancel it. It may be that it gets released during this time period. In that case I will provide you a full refund and you can re-purchase the domain if it’s still available.
Cheers!

I have made the manual payment… Please let me know what I need to do next. Also I would like to make sure that this incorrect site redirects to the correct site: bigdaddypublishers.com.
I will await your reply… thanks for your help….

Hello Gracejiyoung, something major is wrong…
My correct site : bigdaddypublishers.com is coming up with a black screen -site unavail.
In my upgrades on my dashboard I do see:
1- the wrong domain twice- bigdaddypublisners.com one stating the domain is active and the other asking for 26.00 renewal and I thought that is what I paid the other day to reactive the old domain.
2- the correct domain – bigdaddypublishers.com – site unavailable!! (NOT GOOD).Most importantly- I have no idea why this is happening: however, I am needing my correct site bigdaddypublishers active and running and the the old/incorrect domain…redirected to the new domain. I am appreciative to any assistance you can give me to quickly get the correct site up and running. This is becoming a nightmare..
Patiently worried…

Hi there,
I’m so sorry about this. For some reason the domain was brought back from our registrar, but they haven’t renewed it yet. I’m still waiting on a response from them, but I have sent another urgent request just now.
For now I have removed the mapping so that you at least won’t get that error when you go to the correct domain.
I will get back to you as soon as I hear back! Again, I apologize for the mixup.
