Reactivate deleted blog

  We would like to reactivate a blog that was previously deleted (45gop.wordpress.com). Is that possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m sorry but there is no way to recover the URL you deleted because there is no recycling of deleted blog URLs here at WordPress.com. Confirm by reading http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ and
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
  Prior warning of this is given to prevent accidental deletions by insuring everyone who deletes a blog has been warned that what they are doing is irreversible.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

  Thanks. I was afraid of that. A previous webmaster of our organization deleted the blog a couple of years ago, obviously not aware that it would prevent anyone from ever using that name again.

  We do own the domain name that we would like to use for the blog (45gop.org). However, we also want to be able to host email lists and email accounts on another server. Is it possible to set up DNS so that only HTTP accesses go to WordPress, and other services continue to be on our server?

  You can map your existing domain name to a blog here

  Email is also possible – but a bit more work – and it can be done on your own servers

  For about 2 years I started a ´test´ blog with the name: ilonkahellewegen.wordpress.com. I would like to use it now, the blog still exists, but I can´t see it in my blogs overview. How can I manage this?

  You must be logged in under the exact same username account that created any blog to access it.
