Reactivate dormant domain

  Hi there, I let the website: bywaynebrown.com become inactive, as I did not pay the fee when it was time to renew. I would like to reactivate the domain as a free wordpress site (i.e. http://www.bywaynebrown.wordpress.com). Is this possible? What do I need to do? Looking forward to hearing back, Mariel

  Yes it is possible for Staff to remove the domain mapping for you and I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it. Also know there is a backlog so your patience is required while waiting.

  Thanks so much for your response! I think I have changed the domain mapping and cancelled the unwanted domain. I’m a bit nervous that I have also cancelled the website that I want!!

  I can see that Robyn was able to help you out with this over live chat. :) You domain mapping has been cancelled and you’re all site to carry on with your site under its free site address, bywaynebrown.wordpress.com.
