Reactivate Old Site
-
I started a blog at WordPress.com in 2016 and used it for a year or two. As far as I know I never deleted it myself. I would now like to start using it again and, hopefully, recover the posts I published there. Is this possible.

I think it was https://simcarr.wordpress.com
I haven’t ever had another account as far as I know.

Why would you say that when you only created the account you are posting from 3 months ago.
What about

Hi there,
As @themagicrobot mentioned, https://simcarr.wordpress.com is under a different account than the one you are contacting us from,
simcarr. If you still have access to the email connected to that account but not the password, you can enter that email address in the password recovery tool. Please check your spam folder for the recovery email if you don’t receive it in your inbox immediately:
https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If you do not remember the site credentials, please fill out our account recovery form, we’ll see what we can do to assist you in regaining access to your account.
If you are unable to fill out the form, please contact our Account Recovery Team directly at
passwordhelp@wordpress.comPlease visit our support page for more information on recovering your account.
Thanks!

Thank you all very much for your help. The problem was, indeed, that I’d unwittingly created a new account recently when trying to access someone else’s site. All working now and I’ve found my old posts. Brilliant.
